Play England has produced this short film to show how through its innovative use of a piece of woodland, a local community has created a unique place for children to play.
This seven-minute video, featuring interviews with local children, volunteers and councillors, shows how play is central to creating healthier and happier communities. It was filmed at the Indigos Go Wild Adventure Playground near Torbay.
The video was produced by Mark Lister, Senior Programme Development Officer at Play England.
More information about how adventure playgrounds integrate their work with the communities they serve can be found in our report Adventure Playgrounds: Built by Communities.
